Welcome to The Heartful Host!

Welcome to The Heartful Host!
Me enjoying a quiet moment in the living room of 'The Fox House, Kyneton', the property I took from 0 to number 1* in just 9 short months over the course of 2019-20. (*Source: AirDNA).

If you're new here, please accept a very warm welcome from me, Jen Clark, former accommodation business owner, 11 x Airbnb 'Superhost' and host of the wildly successful Australian podcast - now ranked in the top 1.5% of podcasts globally with over 120 value-packed episodes published in almost 6 years - Hosting With Heart!

I'm also the founder of new, purpose-driven, short-term accommodation and experiences booking marketplace, Heartful, which launched to the public in October, 2024 after 18 months of careful planning, fundraising and incredibly hard work.

I've created this space to share my very honest insights, tips and knowledge about short-term accommodation hosting and what core factors I believe contribute the most to long-term success.

Let me be clear, however, that unlike a lot of other folk offering advice in this space, my definition of success isn't limited to dollars and cents. Far from it, in fact.

I have always approached hosting with an ethos centred on inclusion, sustainability, a desire to showcase and support our local communities, experiences and businesses, a deep and profound respect for heritage and history, particularly Australia's rich indigenous heritage, authenticity and old-fashioned hospitality, a genuine commitment to quality, transparent and timely communication and an ongoing love of design.

If you are here, I'm harbouring a guess that you likely value these things too and are keen to explore them more.

All I can say is, you're absolutely in the right place and I hope you'll feel welcome to contact me anytime with any thoughts, ideas or questions you might have or subjects you'd like me to explore and write about in more detail.

For now, I hope this space provides you with a huge amount of value and support - this is absolutely paramount to me.

Thank YOU for being a part of this community and your willingness to learn. I'm so glad to have you here.
